What is the George-Fraser rifle?
The George-Fraser rifle is a copy of Daniel Fraser’s rifle SN 315. SN 315 represents the final evolution of the rifle and features the thumb lever latch and the one piece action plate. Most of these late rifles were chambered for the .303 British cartridge and use a barrel profile that provides perfect balance with the .311 bore. Every attempt was made to duplicate the function and appearance of the original rifle. The action is CNC machined from 8620 steel and is mated to a barrel with the proper profile for the .303 cal. cartridge.
